Everything for the day
A single officially measured 10K loop on fully closed roads, out from Roefield along Edisford Road and New Lane, around the closed roads of the Ribble Valley, and back to the finish. Roads close at 09:15. View the full course map →
How to get there

- All roads on the route close at 09:15, please leave plenty of time to park and reach registration.
- Park at the school by the start (approx. 400m) or the pay & display car park beside Roefield; marshals will direct you.
- Parking towards the town centre? It's approximately 1 mile away, allow extra time.
- No cars can leave the main car park until the last runner has finished.

- Changing & toilets: female runners use the Swimming Pool building; male runners use the Football Pavilion. Portable toilets are on the main car park. Please don't use the leisure centre toilets.
- Bag drop: there's no formal bag drop, please travel light and leave belongings in your car or with spectators. The sports hall is staffed but items are left at your own risk.
- Finish: collect your themed medal and post-race goodies (water and snacks from our sponsors) in the finish funnel.
Other information
- Race pack: collection 08:30–09:30 on the day. Entered before 5 December? Your pack is posted to you. Pin your number to the front; the timing chip is on the back of the bib, don't tamper with it.
- Medical: cover provided by Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team, with a vehicle following the race.
- Prize-giving: in the Roefield hall from approximately 11:15, including the Northern Athletics 10K Championship medals.
- Results & cut-off: chip-timed results at results.runthrough.co.uk; a 90-minute course cut-off applies. Strictly no entries on the day; entries are non-refundable.
